These terms govern your use of Hoodly. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Hoodly.
Hoodly is operated by Jameel Shehadeh, a sole developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", "Hoodly").
You must be at least 18 years old to use Hoodly. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or over, that the information you give us is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date.
You are responsible for your account and for anything that happens under it. Keep your password secure, and tell us at support@hoodlysocial.com if you think someone else has access to it.
Hoodly is a platform. We connect you with local businesses, community activities, marketplace listings and other people in your neighbourhood. We are not a party to any transaction, arrangement or meeting that results from using the app.
You keep ownership of everything you post. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store and distribute it within Hoodly for the purpose of operating the service.
You are responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to share, and make sure it is accurate.
We may remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion — particularly where content breaks these terms or where an account poses a risk to other users. We may do this without notice where the situation calls for it.
If your account is suspended, you lose access to your content, your gems balance, and any unredeemed offers.
Businesses listed on Hoodly set their own offers, terms and conditions. When you redeem an offer:
We are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of any goods or services provided by a business.
Hoodly's marketplace lets neighbours list items. We do not verify listings, we do not handle payments, and we are not a party to any sale.
You may not list anything you are not legally permitted to sell in the UAE, including controlled substances, weapons, counterfeit goods, live animals, or anything requiring a licence you do not hold.
Hoodly lets users organise and join local activities, and discover neighbours. These involve meeting people you do not know.
Organisers of activities are responsible for their own events, including any permissions, safety arrangements or costs. Hoodly is not the organiser and takes no responsibility for what happens at an activity.

We do our best to keep Hoodly running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Hoodly is provided "as is" and "as available".
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of Hoodly. This includes loss arising from:
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law.
If you see content that breaks these terms, report it in the app or email support@hoodlysocial.com. We aim to review reports promptly and will act where appropriate.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and let you know in the app if the changes are significant. Continuing to use Hoodly after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
